Playlogic’s Gene Troopers is a science fiction game set in a world where an elite army named gene troopers is ripping through the universe in order to find and secure life forms. They are termed gene troopers as they are developed genetically by a race of aliens resembling insects. Changing Sides Gene Troopers puts you in the shoes of one such gene trooper who is released from his transformation pod by and alien who befriends him and a mysterious female who is quite skilled. Full spectrum warrior was released last year on the Xbox platform, and the game used to help teach soldiers how to operate in an urban environment, instantly became a rage with the gamers. This year THQ announced the title to be released on the PC platform and gamers who love squad based action game’s hand are itching to get a copy of the game as soon as it’s out. Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Preview

Oblivion is the fourth game in the Elder Scrolls series. The RPG follows on the lines of the long running series and is all set to be shipped as one of the OEM games for the new and much awaited Xbox 360. Oblivion comes to you after a three-year gap from its predecessor Morrowind. Oblivion is still under the final stages of development and is expected to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2006. Midway has released their newest game Earth 2160 in US and Canada. Earth 2160 is a RTS game which is widely popular as a multiplayer game too. Crytek created an everlasting impact on the minds of first-person shooters with Farcry. Though Farcry was a game with immense graphics and environment effects, it cannot match up to the game which is yet to be released in the quarter half of 2007. ColdWar Preview

Czech developers Mindware have released a good lot of successful titles and franchises over time but, action was never one of the strongest elements of their games. It seems Cold War may change that. ColdWar was demonstrated at E3 in one of the unique and superb ways of showing off a demo. Civilization IV which was voted as the 2005 PC game of the year now has another ace up its sleeve. The creators have now released another expansion for this hit game. This is the second expansion that has been released after the ‘Warlords’ expansion. The ‘Warlords’ expansion was just like the other expansion in the sense of the word. It added a few new civilizations and some additional scenarios. This was received well by some gamers and not so well by the rest. Tora, Tora, Tora! When call of duty came out almost two years ago, it barged in full force and assaulted all our senses. Amidst the clutter of the endless WWII games being released, it stood out like a sore thumb with a pink ribbon and a medal on its shoulder. Call of Cthulhu Preview

Bethesda Softworks’ highly anticipated survival horror title, Call of Cthulhu, first made its appearance during the 2001 E3. Followed by appearances at 2003, 2004 and 2005 E3s as well. And now finally we have word from the publishers that game is set for an early 2006 release and will not see another E3. Currently the game is 85% complete and the remaining time is being used to tweak the AI and the difficulty levels.
