In 2004 a game called “Perimeter” was hyped a lot due to its new graphics engine, which was based on voxels rather than polygons. The game however failed to leave an impression with the gamers. However the team that brought out Perimeter, Codemasters and KDV Games, are trying once more to make a mark with the same engine and taking care of the mistakes they made with their first game, and bringing us another RTS game titled Maelstrom. Left Behind Eternal Forces Preview - PC

Left Behind started of as a series of Christian novels set in the ‘end times’ according to the book of Revelation in the Bible. The series follows the story of a group of people known as the Tribulation Force. These people were left behind after the rapture, an event according to the Bible where true Christians are taken up into heaven. Following this is the seven-year reign of the Antichrist. The series has spawned graphic novels, television series, three movies and now a game - Left Behind: Eternal Forces which is being developed by Left Behind Games. Post War battles CDV Entertainment and Nival Interactive are the two names who pioneered strategy games based on the World War 2 scenarios. CDV with its Blitzkrieg series and Nival with its Silent Storm game paved the way for dozen other strategy games set in backgrounds of World War 2.
