April 12, 2008
Video games publisher Rising Star Games has sent word about a new role playing game for the Sony PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo Wii. Called as Baroque, the game is addictively challenging as well as completely immersive and offers a pure RPG experience.
Baroque features hardcore dungeon-crawling role-playing action and has ever-changing levels, each swarming with wicked monsters and tormented souls. It has a unique story progression system as each time the character dies, more secrets about the abandoned world are discovered. Also, the gamer has full control over how they shape their character and how they play the game. The deep customization options let them furnish an enormous collection of weapons and items.
Here is the story of Baroque:
You awaken to find the world in ruins, your heart beset with unexplained guilt. A cataclysm has destroyed the cities and empires of men and disfigured the spirit of humanity. In this nightmare, it falls to you to descend a mysterious tower in search of absolution. Battle merciless foes through treacherous dungeons, scour for new items to aid you in your travels and unlock the secrets of a devastated land. You will find death in the depths, yet learn that death is not the end of the story; in the twisted world of Baroque, it is only the beginning.
Baroque is scheduled to release for the PS2 and Nintendo Wii on June 27, 2008. The PS2 version will cost £19.99 (approx. 1570) in UK and €29.99 (approx. Rs. 1890) in Europe.
